Columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle wants to cancel the 2028 Olympics claiming the games will be held under a "lawless regime" as per the ICE, CBP and USM actions taking place with deportations of illegal immigrants/aliens.
Apparently this character passing himself off as a journalist is not old enough to remember the Waco siege when federal agencies assaulted and incinerated men, women and children -- all American citizens while Bill Clinton was President. This was in 1993.
One year later, the US hosted the FIFA World Cup tournament and no one lambasted Clinton's administration as being a "lawless regime." The World Cup commenced as planned without any insinuation of a "lawless regime" after having murdered a total of 82 citizens -- 28 of them children.
As far as I can tell, no potential deportees have been murdered during apprehension. Federal vehicles have had their tires slashed and federal agents have been assaulted by onlookers willfully breaking the law.
Then there's how Elian Gonzales was absconded with by Federal agents in something resembling a SWAT raid, but no one called the Clinton administration a "lawless regime" for doing as such.
So as for "Little Joey" Matthews writing about the "lawless regime" at the head of government today, maybe he should get his effing head out of his a$$ and read up on how Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's husband conducted his "regime" over the course of eight years!
Meanwhile, President Trump has yet to deport as many illegals as President Obama. We can celebrate the day that happens. If we refer to every 438,421 deportees as "One Obama," and multiples as "two Obama's, etc." the 20 million illegals released into the US during the Brandon administration, leaves us with approximately 46 "Obamas" in need of deportation. I'll leave further calculations to interested parties to perform for their own interests.
Thank you.
(You know I'm doing my part). Here's Andrew Dice Clay (no relation) back in the 90s when comedians were allowed to make jokes about anything. The pendulum is swing back pretty hard, not in mainstream media obviously, but on social media which has been forced to loosen their insane restrictions on free speech over the last few years because so many people got tired of their censorship and snowflake behavior they just kept pushing full speed ahead with free speech. I'm not a Dice Clay fan, but this is the kind of free speech comedy we need to bring back.
