During their interview, Patel and Bongino gave me the impression someone was holding a gun to their backs (or holding their families hostage). A layer of influence directs the visible layer proverbially telling us, "nothing to see here." At some juncture, that undercurrent of influence will come to the surface to be exposed for what it is. What we see only has to make like a scab by drying up and peeling away.

Maybe things will make sense once that happens.
