Vote early. Don't wait. My fuel pump went out on election day 2016. Luckily it was after I voted. Literally, right after I voted. I had to have it towed from the polling place! And look up your local Republican Party's city voter guide for endorsements of local positions from school board to judges and other positions that don't have party affiliations next to their name.
